Steps to Create a Bootable Pen Drive

    1. list disk

Replace X with the disk number of your USB drive and press Enter.

  1. clean

Press Enter. This will erase all data and partitions on the drive.

  1. create partition primary

Press Enter.

  • select partition 1

Press Enter.

  • active

Press Enter.

  • format fs=ntfs quick

Press Enter and wait for the format to complete.

  • assign

Press Enter. Note the assigned drive letter (e.g., F:).

  1. Exit

Press Enter.

  1. Your Bootable USB is Ready. You can now copy any operating system installation files to this USB drive and your USB drive is now bootable. Safely eject it and use it to boot your system.
